Please do something about performance.

Gotta just love having very little time to play, finally get all the side maps done to open the Derelict Mansion. Get in, no issues...clear to boss, only to have the first slam of the boss freeze the game, takes 3-4 minutes to unfreeze only to find I'm dead. Waystone had zero rezzes, and my character is more than capable of doing this content.

Kind of not fun, when the only way to counter this is to either play with a VERY fuzzy image that gives me a headache, or run blue waystones to make sure if the game freezes I can still go back in.

Please do something about performance, tone down particles on all these big abilities, or give a slider for turning them down for the people that want to or need to.

Hot take: GGG isn't an 'indie' company anymore. They lost that status when Tencent bought into them. They're a part of the big boys club. They NEED to do better than what they're doing right now. Whatever they have going on in the pipeline and backend, it is gonna kill them pretty soon. Last Epoch took a long break between their first patches to clear up their tech debt. GGG really needs to do the same.

Frankly, I'd be fine if they just spent 8 months or 2 leagues just actually optimizing their fkn game. When I chain ice explode an abyss with all its ground effects going, I get an awesome cinematic 21 fps. Burning/Shocked ground tanks me from 100 - 120 FPS to 40. Don't even get me started on Delirium. It takes a good 30s for monsters to even start loading in.

Monster Hunter Wilds got crapped on hardcore for its bad performance, and rightly so. That game runs better for me than PoE2, which is absolutely insane.

It's an actual shame a lot of the community here doesn't get on GGG's case about their horrendous performance like what the Monster Hunter community did for Wilds.

Anyways, realistically, I know GGG won't bother delaying a league or whatever and dedicating that time to improving performance. It's only a pipe dream on my side.
