Smith of Kitva - Heat of the Forge bugged with Spearfield

The Heat of the Forge ascendancy grants a skill that triggers a socketed fire spell on reaching maximum energy, energy gained by doing damage with melee hits.

Spearfield is a spear skill with the tags: AoE, Melee, Attack, Sustained, Duration, Hazard.

Currently Spearfield melee hits do not produce energy for Heat of the Forge.

Spearfield strikes raise spears from the ground in front of the character. The spears do no damage until they hit a monster, so this delayed aspect of the skill somehow prevents it from generating energy.
