You dont own access to POE2

I bought the game, redeemed my codes, connected my steam account to POE, I collected a code of which i have a screen shot of from POE2 early access tab......giving me a code. I enter the code into Steam and redeem the game which I then install. After installation, quick restart. Load game through steam..........Your account does not have access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access. Bribe a friend who has a spare key or purchase now.

I try everything suggested online before submitting a ticket. I then submit a ticket after much frustration only to be told by POE2 support that I need to login to the game to get a verify code. I explain i cant login, i start the game and the game says "Your account does not have access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access. Bribe a friend who has a spare key or purchase now."

I repeat explaining this to support only to be told once again they need to verify my account by me logging in to the game and using the chat console to get a verify code. I explain again i cant login due to the above message. It seems i am dealing with incredibly thick, incredibly stupid people or a bot. Now I have done everything on my side....I email you attachments of my accounts pages, my emails with you, the redeem codes, the purchase codes, and the error messages.....despite showing you the screen shot of Steam saying the game is accepted........and the shots showing my accounts linked........shots of my purchase etc etc etc.....I am still told they need to verify my ownership of the game.

I have tried explaining i have access to my account, i dont need access to passwords etc as I have access. I just want to know the answer to a simple question..........WHY WHEN I GET TO THE GAMES LOGIN PAGE DOES IT TELL ME

EXPLAIN........because I have tried your support, and your support is fricking terrible. So now i bring it to the forums to try and resolve this issue.

Where did you buy the game from? their website or steam/epic/playstation/Xbox?

Never had issue with them. I got a key, redeemed my codes, I have the game installed, I can load the game, it loads and i can choose the server location on top right.....and it has the LOGIN tab.........when i hit login i am told i dont own the game. If i dont own the game how is it installed?

It seems this error message telling people they dont have access to POE2 is ongoing issue for over a year. Steam and forums are full of people complaining about it.

Seems like you buying steam client keys (which is only for downloading the game) and not POE2 early access keys.

How is it the game companys fault that the website you used sold you a download key and not an account key?

Also it sounds like thats what happened because I gave a access key to a friend of mine and he had the same problem until I realised that I had sent him the steam client download key and not a early access account key.

So it sounds like the web site you used either scammed you or mistakenly gave you a steam client download key, which is only used to get access to and download the game from steam. You need a early access account key.

I would contact whoever you bought it from and explain the mistake.

So regardless of third parties....Steam shows that I have a licensed copy of Path of Exile 2.......and I get the same message other people have got for over a year stating they dont have access to play.

Anyways i will be contacting bank and opening a fraud dispute with the seller. There is no mention other than a digital product is being sold, the key was redeemed, and the product installed.......but that is not enough to play, only on redemption are you told you need to pay again to access your account. That is out of order no matter what.
