Why not always identify items after visiting the main hub if you have hooded one?

In the campaign often we have to go to The Hooded one to identify items easily. Because it is free it just becomes a routine thing you always do and you have to do. I am noob to Poe of course who has not finished the campaign still. But this task seems like it become tedious and just a button click.

I think it may be helpful if there is aa option in the settings to always identify items automatically if you have access to the hooded one.

Im not sure if this is still true in PoE2, but in PoE1 some items had special functions when they were unidentified. For example analogy of waystones in PoE1 had some extra bonuses if you ran them unidentified.

Overall, personally, really, tbh, rationally, identification should just be removed and unidentified items removed so we can finally implement a reasonable item filter.
