freeze at the trialmaster

I beat the trialmaster, and then when he freezes the screen to pull his heart out, it never unfroze. everything in the game worked, i could open the map and my inventory and everything, but my character and all the spells in the air kept stuck, so i had to log out, when i logged back in i was at the start at the chaos temple so didnt get my ascendency points or the loot from the trialmaster
