Shield Wall in a party

Recently started playing in with a couple of people new to PoE2 and I chose to play Shield Wall as part of my combo to act as a more front line type for them. Unfortunately, Shield Wall also blocks ally projectiles. While I find it somewhat hilarious, it doesn't feel great for them to have their arrows and spears blocked by my attacks.

Admittedly, since the skill blocks enemy projectiles, it totally makes sense why it would also block ally projectiles, but it does basically kill the skill for party play.

Edit:
Fortress is pretty cancer in any indoor zones because of the way it spawns in the back first (which makes it hard not to get it blocked by a wall). Even in open areas it still blocks my friend's attacks unless I run to the far side of stuff constantly.

Ahn's Citadel is... I guess the best option? As long as I aim it properly, otherwise it still blocks my friends a lot depending on which side they are on relative to me and the monsters. (It's also the worst option if you use any of the multiple fissure supports.)
