Blood of the Warrior and Umbilicus Immortalis

The interaction between these two items doesn't work as I expected.

In particular the wordings, "Minions cannot Die while affected by a Life Flask" and "Effect is not removed when Unreserved Life is Filled"

What I expected was that as long as the effect of blood of the warrior is active, my minions won't die, but they do indeed die during the effect.
