Curious question about Gameloop

Hello,

is it really intended to almost never find any upgrades? Is it required to just farm currency to buy upgrades from streamers, who "community funded" craft items?

What's the point of rare items at all in this game? Are there any plans on adding more uniques/set items? Are uniques overall become viable at some point in the game?

I feel like the gameplay is more like work - where you farm/work for currency to buy stuff you want.

I tried crafting but almost every time I either invest more than its worth in the end or its no upgrade or I cant use it because it would kill my resistances - 20 rings and no add damage + cold resistance atleast above 30% - there is always something missing so I cant get any upgrade - I had also lots of good rings that went garbage in one click.

Im not even feeling anything anymore when a divine orb or any other high currency drops. Its lame please add valuable items we can look for.

Try SSF.

PoE 1 suffers from the same fate that most dropped items are utter garbage. PoE 2 is even harsher because a base needs either the right rolls or to be white to have any value.

Learning to craft is one of the most important things you can do. Im right there with you that the mats are often more expensive than what ai can afford to wear, but until you know how to craft, you'll never know when to craft vs buy.
