Help, well of souls broke my build!

Hey guys. I desecrated my neck and ring, and gained physical damage on the ring and cold/chaos resistance on the neck. I re-equipped the items, left the area, and now I have lost almost 100 of each main stat!! Its completely broken my build as I can't use all my skill gems etc. Have I done something wrong? Or is this a known bug

Maybe the desecration occurs which causes changes or remove the strength, dexterity and intelligence modifiers on your ring and amulet?

Then when you cannot meet the minimum attribute requirements of the skill gems and gear, they cannot function anymore.

the problem is, i couldn't see that the desecration changed anything, it all looks the same. so i'm not sure how it has removed so many stats.

if desecration has bricked you, it sounds like you desecrated gear that already had maximum amount of mods so you probably removed an attributes line off your gear

Oh! i did not know that's how it worked, i thought desecration added an extra one regardless!!! thank you so much, now to rectify my mistake buy spending all my div lol
