your crafting system....

This crafting system in the game is still bad for countless reasons. Players still spend a lot of currency to get bad results, which harms gameplay and makes this "crafting" very negative.

To words it in the right place, there's no crafting in POE 2. Anyone 5 years old can see that; what we have is gambling. gambeling with currency, that you take alot of time to get.

Another thing that draws a lot of attention to the rings and belts is that they don't have rolls with ES, but they do have evasion, armor, life, etc. To this day, I still can't understand why.

Repeated suffix profixes: it's a symptom of incompetence and lack of verification. My God... why doesn't a suffix like elemental damage eliminate other possibilities? Example: rolling the ring with "increased cold damage" is what the player needs. When the item rolls with "increased cold damage," why does the next exalted item give another "increase other damage"? Why not do this with this horrible gambling system, instead of creating tons of useless items?. Normally the player only focuses on ONE type of elemental, to have better results and kill the monsters faster. Any dumbass can see this, and see that it is very wrong. And same to jewels, roll with bow and spear ... aeriously, i cant have any respect for this kind of "vision".

To make matters worse, our incredibly intelligent devs are now going to allow the Alchemy Orb to reroll magic items. I don't understand where or how you came to this conclusion, but what I do know is that you really have no idea what you're doing, and I even risk being canceled by saying: what planet are you on?.

Why don't you listen to the community and re-do some inexplicable decisions? What's the point of having 3 types of Chaos and EX if the system itself is always rerolling the same modifiers on items?. what ever you use ...

What's your hatred for a crafting bench like POE 1? Which is a It's a much, much better system than this POE 2 gamble, because the player won't waste their time and currency on this failed POE 2 system.

These modifiers like Light Radious attribute requirements—who cares about that crap? If that stops existing, who will care?.

I don't see a good future. Everything you do is wrong.

I 100% want and wish they'd add an actual crafting system.

And of course what that means is a deterministic system that does not rely on any rng whatsoever to get what you want.
The absolutely ability to define an exact desired item and get it without any chance factors.
To include this system thats based entirely on layers of rng, and try to call it crafting, is an insult.

My desire aside, there's a couple matters of the devs intent and desire to point out:

The devs want it to be possible for an item to be inherently bricked.
They do that on purpose.
The modifiers you identified as ones nobody would care about if they were removed, are included in the game for the sole purpose of bricking items.
They are there explicitly to be something nobody will ever want or accept.
Likewise there are also modifiers that obviously something that will be demanded on every item (of the type). Those exist to automatically brick any item that doesn't have them. The other end of the same purpose.

Fire, ice, lightning, and elemental are four separate builds.
Plenty of people do elemental builds that use all three.
Some people also do two-element builds.
This is why passives and some gear modifiers exist that just say "elemental" instead of specifying an element, not to mention passives that specifically function on an enemy being affected by multiple elements.

Your fire build is expected to skip a elemental cluster to take a fire cluster.
Your elemental build is expected to skip a fire cluster to take an elemental cluster.
crafting is actually so good that a white exceptional base sells for more currency than a decent dropped item, only downside could be the cost to craft good gears but all these changes made it so that you can actually get exactly what you want.

I feel opposite I feel crafting is WAY too powerful at its current state. You can near deterministically craft an amazing chest if you find a good base for under 6 divines, which would results in a 30div chest.

This is the kind of out of touch, lost the plot comment that makes me think of a Rockefeller guessing that a gallon of milk probably costs about 100 dollars since "surely its cheap".

6 div is a highly expensive price most players end a league unable to afford, and the crafting system is still such a casino, even with all the omens, desecration bones, and higher tier currencies (none of which players will have anyway because they're too rare, too expensive, and only start being obtainable too late), that it's comical to even try to call it crafting.

No you're just not very good at the game if 6div is a lot to you.... and crafting is so easy this league with all the different currencies and omens. And what's the point if you can just pick the mods on your gear, the entire ARPG genre is built on RNG of items
I agreed that there is no crafting in PoE2. You see the descriptions with omens "... guarantee a RANDOM ..."
RNG is part of the genre, actual real crafting where you get exactly what you want is a premium in such a genre, it will cost you A LOT, this is not a JRPG or an MMO, it's ARPG where RNG is king.

Crafting in PoE2 is the same as PoE1, but half the mechanics are not implemented yet. To say that crafting is too powerful, is to say that PoE1 will also needs changing? lol
If they do what you want, you'll get bored in 2 days. No offense, just go play Torchlight or something. You're stressing yourself out over something that will never change.
