What's a better way to get "better" at the game?
I feel so behind the curve. I watch a lot of guide content and maybe put in 4 to 5 hours into the game a night but can't seem to get better at the game. I maybe only make 100ex an hour from logbook sales but can't really get to a point to accelerate my gains.
I play thorns Warbringer. Clear is "okay" and boss damage is fine but I feel like even with 80% armour and 75% ele and chaos res I still go from 100-0 pretty quickly. I guess I'm just heating from bashing my head into the wall at Kulemak. ขุดครั้งสุดท้าย เมื่อ 3 ต.ค. 2025 16:37:56

" Thorns Warbringer struggles on Bosses, is slower on Maps compared to other builds you can do on a Warbringer and is something that isnt even close to anything meta. I dropped it at one point and switched to a Totem build because of that. It felt great to play till the endgame and then fell of a cliff. The Totem build is outright broken for the investment needed but sadly you go blind if you play it for longer (grenades tend to be bright as f....). So maybe it isnt about "getting good" in the end and more about "getting something else" to get the speed and results you look for. Personally i went through quite a few builds on Infernalist/Lich/Blood Mage/Deadeye/Warbringer/Witchunter before i found my sweatspot on the witchhunter for now and even it isnt meta as well i finally have fun and blast through maps without spending 100s of Divs for it (some builds just need that). |

Best way to get at PoE is play then play and then play some more. Play a lot of different builds or read on them at least to more about game interactions. Read play read play, play read then play and read.

it's gonna take a couple leagues to figure it out. the good news is the economy resets every time so you're not actually falling behind.

First step, do not play melee as your first character in this game.

The truest way to "get better at the game" is to just play the game. You can also look into guides and find out how other people are building characters, try to imitate that and practice, practice, practice.
I got the sauce.
POE1 & 2 enjoyer. |

" I disagree. Melee combat is very fun in poe2 and there are many pseudo-melee ranged skills that can be used with martial weapons. Also hollow palm is cool. Plus the sound that an ancestrally boosted rolling slam makes on the ground when it crits is crunchy as fuck and even after 4000000 times hearing it I still can't wait to hear it the 4000001st time. |

expedition won't accelerate you
rarity/rare monsters on your waystones will if you try to clear the maps quickly (including the breach content). unfortunately, everything else in the game doesn't compare to breach. |

It "dinged" for me when I understood how to juice maps. But for properly juiced maps you need a strong build.
In 0.1 I actually made three characters: 1 for maps (stat stacker monk), 1 for bosses (deadeye) and a couple of them for fun. Each financed the other one. Bosses financed maps, maps financed fun. Luckily blood mage can do both really well this season. My next evolution will be early crafting. Still don't understand how people make mirror money. Early crafting (like day 0-5) is where most people make the biggest and most important gains from what I can tell. Anyway, you need at least one build that can efficiently do either bosses or maps. That character can then finance more ethical builds that you wanna do. Just make a deadeye first and use that for easy farming in week one and two. Then use that currency to create whatever you actually wanna play. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย staytuned2k#6008 เมื่อ 3 ต.ค. 2025 03:06:37
