PS5 couch coop add skill Sockets?

I play Couch Coop on PS5 and I can’t seem to figure out how to add sockets on second player…. When go to skill hold the touchpad you get the Inv on the right side as player one does but when he clicks use he cant seem to get over to the left side(skill gem side) anyone know how to do this? Or is it just another bug to the 100th of console bugs?
