Too many penalties for death in maps

So with the new changes you're now required to run a 6 mod waystone to be allowed to use 3 tablets. So you're not allowed to die as you only get one portal. Then you lose XP, then you lose your waystone and then, you also lose the ability to use tablets again on that map.
Why do we need 4 Penalties for dying? (5 if you count any currency you spent on your waystone which is getting more expensive to run)
Does this not seem an excessive amount of punishment.
Poe1 you always have maximum portals and only lose XP on death.
I refuse to run no retries as the game constantly loves to one shot you with nothing out of nowhere.
There needs to be less penalties for dying. Or at least ditch the zero retries.

I mean yea... remove XP loss on death.
Running the 0 retries would still be a good enough risk, Tho i feel they need to be upping the loots in such a case cause i still think the drops arnt indicitive of the risk.
no risk, no fun. doing maps with 6 modifiers and the experience loss after level 90 made me think how to avoid it
