Can we get rid of the wild dog mobs

I feel like I am abusing animals with these monsters, not to mention the horrible hurt yelp they make when they die. It makes my skin crawl and not in a good way.

And I thought people can't be more ridiculous....

In all fairness, aren't they called "rabid dog", as in an animal that is afflicted with rabies? Given context in a fantasy game, rabies would be an incurable disease that has a 100% fatality rate.

The dogs are mad, and doomed to a miserable death regardless of your intervention. All you're doing is putting them out of their misery.
