Simple player Feedback form 0.3.0
First, thank you and congratulations on Path of Exile. It's the best H'n'S game out there for years, and I hope for years.
I'm writing this review for informational and feedback purposes only. All my feelings and opinions are my own, and I'm not trying to convince or criticize anyone! For precision, I'm only talking about gameplay, never lore. I have 1,500 hours on PoE1 and 500 hours on PoE2. I'm a working player, so I can't play dozens of hours a week of the game, even if I wanted to. As for PoE2, the game is wonderful up to Arbiter and tier 2 of the various leagues. Still great after, but some problems appear... The campaign is perfect. You need to know the game a little, but the challenge is there without being too difficult. The endgame with the 0.3.0 towers is the right compromise for me. On the other hand, the citadel rate is really too low, even with the 0.3.1 modification. I think that adding a system key like Ultimatum or Barya will be better ? For the tower, is better to get the effect from the tower. Looking for a place of towers is good. And we have an action on our progress. For me, from a solo progression view, who do not want to max out the maps or towers, it's excellent. In very brief feedback, because I haven't tested it enough yet, the 0.3.1 evolution seemed much better for the game, but I don't think so. The towers 0.3.0 were nice, and it avoids having to roll all those maps. I think a mix between having an influence limit of 2 towers max and keeping a map slot for only add a boss tablet, will be the best? QoL: - Stash tabs for all mechanics, especially for tablets, expeditions, ... - A filter for support gems - Splinters that affiliate in their stash tab and not in the fragment tab - For Angel sales, have the option for a stash tab with a fixed price so you don't have to set a price for every item - More options to save our search in the trade window - A complete overhaul of the UX/UI for gems, for the moment, nothing is visible. The window never opens and closes when you want it to, and above all, you can't compare support gems, which makes it impossible to understand builds and choose the best evolution for your character - I've think that lost is time and maybe good stuff/currency and the waystone when you die in a map is fair enough. Let us restart that failed map with all content. Overall balance (after 200 t15 79-80 Monster Lvl map with 60-90% rarity): - Overall, the game is incredible and fun to play, but... - I can sustain the Wisdom scroll, I've picked up all the scrolls on the ground since the start of the campaign, and it's impossible to identify the items, knowing that I only discover rare t3-4 and certain magic items. I had to buy more than 1,000. Even though I don't play SSF, I don't think it's normal that I can't do it, even if 90% of the loot is useless and only crafting the items counts... - Loot level 20 div, 600ex, 5 annul, 150 chaos, 150 vaal. Maybe I'm rolling my maps badly, but it's impossible to craft all my items to exceed tier 3 league mechanics. And that's when the game stops being enjoyable. Because either you use the sales system, which is excellent and the best I know, you can't solo craft all your equipment without selling in the time of a season. Ultimately, I think there are many ways to play and have fun in the game, but there are three groups who are not looking for the same thing and who should be separated into different leagues, rather than trying to find a way to harmonize us all. Personally, I am all three at once : - An SSF player (or SSF co-op) - A player who likes new features and the trading system and min-maxes during a solo season - A player who likes leagues and new features, who accepts the currency trading system but is much less keen on the trading system and would like to craft their own items. My favorite is the last one, except that solo play without trading doesn't allow you to do that unless you play for thousands of hours. I would like a mode where the currency loot rate and good base 80-82 are much higher and an easier orb of annulment system for crafting and restarting if necessary. Otherwise, between finding the right base, the correct currency, and the right points to modify for t1 crafting, it's almost impossible to do solo and without a trading system, and that's my only really negative point about the game. And to avoid any cheating, there will be no way to migrate between the 3 modes I've described before. ;-) And maybe also the rarity system, since not everything is exceptional.
