how do i make a perfect Magic amulet rare without bricking it?

Hey, I have obtained this amulet through Tujen, but I do not understand how to cuntinue the craft?
if it was rare i would know what to do but i dont know how to get it to be rare but still only have the two mods or a 3rd guarenteed good mod? is there a way to do it? or do i have to yolo regal and prey?

but can i remove the mod again guarenteed? because i dont see any really good essense mods

It would probably be a good idea to start with what you want to end up with.

ideally i would end up with

it is now magic and has spirit t1 and proj 3
