Cast on Crit "Missing socketed skill"

I encountered an error message saying “Missing socketed skill” even though I already placed the skill into the socket.

I tried several things — using a lower-level Cast on Critical Strike (CoC) gem, and it worked fine. I also checked both weapon sets (1 and 2), and it only works on weapon set 2, which is my support set, not my main damage set.

I’m pretty sure my Spirit is sufficient, since I’ve been using this setup for a long time. I only changed my build recently and then switched back, so it shouldn’t be related to Spirit shortage.


Could someone please help fix this issue? The item is quite expensive for me, and I’d really appreciate any support or clarification on what’s causing it.

I don't understand, why was this thread removed by GGG? I'm having the EXACT same issue, and it doesn't look it was answered whatsoever. Is this being resolved, or ignored?!?

I bought another CoC 21 lvl 5 sockets gem any you know what, it works for ONE single map. Than again "missing socketed skill" message appear

Dont buy another one if anybody have this issue. Its waste of currency now

Found solution!

Probably you have socketed same skill regularly and in CoC, make sure you have both weapon sets active on regular and coc too and than:

- Open your CoC tooltip
- left table
- open skill (mine is Arc)
- set both weapon sets active

done!

For whatever reason, while I changed my gear to check stats, game changes this incredibly badly hidden setup. oh - my - god ...
