Can't get into game after it went to not responding

I was on a map and when it started responding, the cog wheels are spinning and I hear ambient sound, but it never loads into game. I tried restarting my PC, Steam and POE2 to no avail.

My char is currently in penetentiary and I have no way to recover him and I'm going to lose my juiced map.

This "NOT RESPONDING" error is happening ALL THE TIME. Particularly around heavy density mobs. The NETWORK will spike, under the monitor, not graphics or CPU, but NETWORK. This is clearly a GGG issue.

Please help.
