Passive node help plz

Hello, in poe2 would Iron Reflexes work with Smith Of Kitavas Dedication To Kitava node?

I would like to wear evasion body armour to gain the energy shield bonus from Spectral Ward but then convert evasion to armour for the Dedicated To Kitava bonus…would it work like I think?
