Flat Mana/hp Bug Still Alive and Well Since 0.1 ð (pls fix it)
|
Yo, I reported this bug back when 0.1 was still running, but I just checked again for no reason today, and it’s still here, lol...
So here’s the bug: 1. The “to maximum mana” (flat) modifier on a wand or focus doesn’t do anything other than give flat mana after all calculations. In other words, if you have 5000 mana and 10% increased maximum mana on your gear (or somewhere else), that 10% won’t apply to the mana from your wand/focus. So instead of getting 5100 + 10% = 5610, you’ll just end up with 5600 10 mana just said bye bye. This makes that mana a dead stat, since neither Archmage nor any skills that scale with mana actually benefit from it. Basically, you’re just getting more mana for regen, and that’s it. At this point, it’s better to go for DPS, regen, or some other useful stat, lol. 2. Checking the bug is simple — just hover over any mana skill node in the tree while holding the item. You’ll see that the mana from the wand/focus doesn’t scale with other skills like Archmage. 3. To confirm it even more, unequip the wand/focus — you’ll only lose the exact flat mana from that item. You’ll notice that % increased max mana from your skill tree or gear doesn’t affect the mana from weapons/focus at all. 4. So here’s the question: if maximum mana doesn’t scale from wands/focus, does that mean other stats like maximum life don’t scale either? ðĪ In the end, for mana or HP stackers, this is basically a dead stat on a weapon/shield/wand/focus. It’s honestly better to go for % increased damage, regen, or any other defensive/offensive stat instead. āđāļāđāđāļāļĨāđāļēāļŠāļļāļāđāļāļĒ NoPELT#2549 āđāļĄāļ·āđāļ 26 āļ.āļ. 2025 02:49:32 āļāļļāļāļāļĢāļąāđāļāļŠāļļāļāļāđāļēāļĒ āđāļĄāļ·āđāļ 26 āļ.āļ. 2025 02:16:35
