Jewel: Prism of Belief (Diamond) – “+3 to Level of all Spark Skills” (Corrupted)

Issue Summary

Equipping a Prism of Belief (Diamond) with the modifier “+3 to level of all Spark Skills” does not affect the level of the Spark gem. The tooltip continues to display level 33 and lists the skill as “Cold-Infused Spark,” despite there being no passives, support gems, or items that should convert the skill or grant Infusion. As a result, Spark receives no benefit from the jewel and overall tooltip DPS decreases.

Expected Behavior

When the Prism of Belief is socketed, the Spark gem level should increase by +3 (to 36), reflecting the modifier in both the skill tooltip and the character’s damage output.

Actual Behavior

The Spark gem remains at level 33 when the jewel is socketed.

The skill description shows “Cold-Infused Spark” even though no Infusion source exists.

Removing or replacing the jewel does not change the outcome.

No other items, passives, or relics reference Infusion or alter Spark.

Relogging, reloading zones, or unsocketing/re-socketing the gem do not resolve the issue.

Steps to Reproduce

Equip a base (non-transfigured) Spark gem at Level 21 (20% Quality). (bought from marketplace for this test)

Allocate any jewel socket on the passive tree.

Insert Prism of Belief (Diamond) with “+3 to Level of all Spark Skills.”

Observe that Spark’s displayed level and damage remain unchanged.

Remove the jewel—no change in gem level or skill variant. (DPS increased with previous Jewel re-socketed)

Additional Notes

The character has been verified to have no “Infusion,” “Cold Infusion,” or “Infused Skill” mechanics from the tree, items, or relics.

The bug persists across different jewel sockets and instances.

May indicate that base Spark is being internally tagged as a Transfigured or Cold-Infused variant, preventing level bonuses from applying.

Summary

The Prism of Belief (Diamond) jewel’s “+3 to Level of all Spark Skills” modifier appears to be non-functional when interacting with the Spark gem. The skill is being treated as “Cold-Infused Spark” despite no supporting mechanics, preventing the expected level increase and causing a loss of effective damage.
