Smith of Kitava - +200 Armour Notables

The +200 to Armour is not applying to the Body Armour like the notables do. Is this intended?

Ever find anything on this? Taking my white body armour off doesn't remove any armour like it does with the +75% Fire Resistance.

bump, same issue here. armor on chest piece doesnt change when i allocate notes and neither does my characters armor value.
