Question about Lavianga's Spirits

I'm looking into getting a Lavianga's Spirits
Gargantuan Mana Flask as a way to get mana regen on a crossbow build as a new option.

it says it's 'not used' but does it still count as a flask effect? Does it still trigger nodes such as 'Stimulants' and 'crystal elixir'?

I can assume on use effect are out of the question, but these are worded as: during flask effect'.

And in minor importance: what would corrupting it possibly achieve?

Well, it's a flask, and it applies its effect constantly (as stated), so there's no reason these nodes wouldn't work.

For flasks (no matter unique or not) the only thing corruption does is modify quality by a random value ranging from - 10% to + 10%, up to 23%. Quality affects how much mana Lavianga's recovers.
