Rampant scamming of trial of Sekhema carries

Just had a group where 3/5 people did not pay after the carry was completed.

If you try to do pay before no one will join the group because too many people scam in the opposite direction.

I feel like nothing is done when people are reported for scamming or not paying an agreed upon price for a service.

Pretty sure GGG has said in the past they don’t support the whole “pay for carry” model.

They indicated they aren’t going to ban players for offering the service, but they (rightfully) also want NOTHING to do with regulating it or enforcing it.

That’s why nothing is done when you report people for scamming, it’s not a supported transaction in the game and everyone involved is doing it at their own risks.

Personally I think it has no place in the game and hope scammers in both directions get so bad the entire “pay for carry” business model goes away entirely.

That's why you accept payment first and have a thread on the forums where people can vouche for you. Self regulate and earn based on reputation.

No direct Player to Player trade and 1000 % Anonymous async trade with the non unique names Obfuscated would solve that issue in both games.

That's the chance you take, it's not like you're actually loosing anything though.... GGG stance on paid services is well you win someone you loose some maybe you shouldn't trust random people on the internet. You agreeing to something doesn't matter they put the trade windows/merchants in the game anything outside of that is on you.

It's too bad they made it so insufferable then. Pushing people away once they reach the 3rd and 4th points and making the experience of the rest as frustrating as possible. Classic GGG

in the first place, ggg should not allow players to enter trials if they are in a party.

if a player is in a party, they should be auto kicked from party or auto kicked from the trial instance.

trials should be done solo and should not be done in a group.

I have done this many times before, I offer to pay after the trial is done then I just leave group and go on with my day. Do I feel bad? No because I think it's scummy to ask people to pay for that especially 1 divine or whatever else crazy price people came up with.

If I do trial runs I let people join for free but sometimes people trade me anyways and give me something, feels insane to me to ask people to pay me for something that isn't even a challenge once you have a build going and I feel better to do it just to help out.

Also as others have mentioned, not even GGG thinks it's ok to ask people to pay you for that.
