Rhoa Mount with Certain Skills causes instability, leads to crash

When I use the Rhoa Mount with certain skills like Freezing Salvo, A plethora of strange interactions occur. At first I thought there was an issue with desync with the server stability, but everything else seems to be working as intended.

Rhoa Mount + Ice Shot: Working as intended. I can move and shoot with the mount.
Rhoa Mount + Snipe: Working as intended. I dismount while using the skill
Rhoa Mount + Freezing Salvo: ????? Mixed results happen.

Scenario 1: I stay on the mount an things work as intended
Scenario 2: The mount attaches to my character, but I am running as if I am not mounted (Attacks incur movespeed penalty)
Scenario 3: The mount freezes (zero animation) and I dismount

In scenario 2+3, I have to re-mount, in which I am teleported sometimes near-ish where the mount was. Re-mounting displaces me a few times, then often leads to a freeze into a disconnect a few seconds after when I get into combat.

EDIT: I figured it out, it has something to do with Weapon Set swapping. Using Snipe puts me on Set 1, but Freezing Salvo moves it from set 1 to set 2. Something with the transition is causing the desync.

Im having the same bug.
I "fixed" by using ice shot before remouting.
At least that worked for me.

Jan 19 an I'm having the same issue T-T took me 3 days to find out it was even the game causing my crashed, I was combing event logs before my 2 braincells sent me here lol.

Anyone find a workaround yet seeing as it's been over a month since OP posted this?

this is due to a bug while weapon swapping on the Rhoa mount. had this happen a lot with snipe and ice shot. in order to get around this, you have to switch to your clear weapon slot BEFORE hopping back on the Rhoa. swapping back to presumed other weapon slot with snipe is still ok since it dismounts you. haven't crashed in the last 3 hrs since i tried this
