Citadels do not spawn

I haven't found yet any citadel so far this league after 45 hours of gameplay.
I had exactly the same problem in 0.3.0. I played for almost 100 hours and didn't find any either.

To clarify, this league (0.4.0) I visited The Burning Monolith the moment I had access to maps (also checked the Mysteryous Obelisk).
However, last league (0.3.0) I didn't visited the Monolith after a lot of mapping and after realizing I hadn't found any citadel yet.

Please check my account because I'm afraid there may be a bug.

I am in the same boat I am like 10 full screens away from my base and not a single citadel map has come up yet, I have gotten like 10 deadly boss maps but 0 citadel
