Minimap resetting and map layout changing on boss death

Uhh... why is my minimap getting reset and the map layout completely changing when i die to a map boss?

If you die to a boss it deletes all the map content besides the boss. I honestly don't know why they did this but they did it. I think the layout resetting is an artifact of how they do the deletion - that said since everything is gone there's no reason to bother going to explore the map again.

It's inelegant IMO and I'm not sure why they chose to do this.

because we are still in beta and thats a bandaid solution to a problem that needs to be adressed but isnt high in the priority as it dosnt affect the average player that much, dieing is for the unexperienced and quinn zdps once you get the hang of it, you rarly die so you dont get to experience it often, as such tehre is no need to rush fix it
