Corrupted Nexus and Atlas Points Gone?

So I wiped on the first corrupted nexus map because my character was terrible and after I failed the map, the quest spot for the corrupted nexus disappeared. I assumed it would pop up somewhere else but it never did. Are these points gone forever? I am sitting on the do a 15+ Corrupted Nexus quest and been all over the map board and never came across another one. Possible bug?
