Cannot enter Qimah Reservoir at Interlude

NPC did open it.
i leave to search for the point of interest (the pillar on qimah area),
i died on the way,
get the pillar buff,
warp into the checkpoint in front of the qimah reservoir entrance.

NPC gone, cannot enter, no indicator of able to enter.

interestengly enough i am able to teleport to qimah reservoir waypoint
