Curses socketed in 'Mark of Chayula' not showing up under enemy health bar
|
Good day,
I thought to let you guys know that when using 'Mark of Chayula', the socketed curses are not showing up underneath the enemy's health bar. I don't know if this was as a result of something that was changed with the last update or not, but I started to notice this as of December 30, 2025. Before December 30, 2025, I would be able to see that 'Mark of Chayula' was successfully applied because I would see at least one socketed curse show up. For example, I have elemental weakness and temporal chains socketed in 'Mark of Chayula', and I would see the temporal chains icon show up on the enemy for which I attacked with 'Mark of Chayula'. Now, however, I do not see either curse icon after I attack an enemy with 'Mark of Chayula'. Edited to include more details: Date: December 30, 2025 Time Encountered: Between 6 to 730 pm EST Location: Heart of the Tribe, Act 4. Skill used: 'Mark of Chayula' Effect not observed: Socketed curses not showing up under enemy health bar. Enemies: Random monsters in Heart of the Tribe map, Tavakai boss fight. Update (Possibly connected to original bug report): Date: December 31, 2025 Time: 12:26 pm EST Location: Any zone within the Interlude Skill used: 'Mark of Chayula' Effect not observed: Temporal chains icon not displaying after attacking enemies with 'Mark of Chayula' even though both elemental weakness and temporal chains are socketed in 'Mark of Chayula'. Only the icon for elemental weakness is displayed as affecting enemies via display of elemental weakness icon under enemy's health bar. Possible helpful information: Elemental weakness is socketed before temporal chains in 'Mark of Chayula' from left to right. Enemies: Random enemies within zones of the interlude. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย _Mohamed_#5939 เมื่อ 31 ธ.ค. 2025 12:30:03 ขุดครั้งสุดท้าย เมื่อ 2 ม.ค. 2026 04:04:09

Low curse level?

|
I thought that might be it, @Seaman#4993, as I had varying levels of the curses socketed in 'Mark of Chayula' when I encountered this issue, and all of them were lower in level than 'Mark of Chayula' itself.
So, what I did was upgrade both ele weakness and temporal chains to the highest I could, at the time, level 12, and I upgraded 'Mark of Chayula' to level 13 as well. It was still yielding the same issue. |

" You can only apply 1 curse on the same target unless you spec Whispers of Doom or use something to bypass curse limit. Is this your case? As for the level it is stated in the skill's tooltip, like "enemy above level X will not be cursed", it doesnt matter if the curse doent match hand of chayula's level แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย IILU81II#8410 เมื่อ 31 ธ.ค. 2025 12:59:40

Thank you seaman#4993 and IILU81II#8410.
Both of you troubleshooted the issue successfully. Monster level in the Glade changed to match my level up to 64. So, the monsters were no longer level 61 (when I was level 63). As elemental weakness at level 12 can only apply the curse to level 61 monsters, this is working as intended. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย _Mohamed_#5939 เมื่อ 2 ม.ค. 2026 04:12:35

" The latter part of your suggestion for why this wasnt working for me was the case. I automatically passed over that part, as I wasn't informed that the monsters in the same zone I enter will have a different level of monsters. I was level 63 when I entered the Glade, and the monsters were level 60-61, which thus satisfied the requirements for a level 12 elemental weakness to apply. When I levelled up, I assumed that the monster level in the Glade was the same. Turns out, it's level 62 now. This is actually very confusing, because the mini-boss I was fighting in the same zone (the Glade) was lower in monster level than the random monsters now populating the area before the mini-boss. แก้ไขล่าสุดโดย _Mohamed_#5939 เมื่อ 2 ม.ค. 2026 04:11:34
