desecrate bug?

been slamming these on most my open sockets forever and just got a new ring with a open prefix. had all res, liferegen, cold res as suffix, life mana as prefix. so here comes the rib slam in hopes of a flat dmg when i reveal im like wtf are these suffix. come to find out it nuked my t1 all res and added a suffix instead of going to the open prefix slot?
