Movement/skill use disabled

Playing Pohx Ice-Merc with same weapon locked on both Set 1 and 2 -

Everything worked fine initially; made it through Act 1 without any issues. Get to Act 2 and get frustrated that char keeps advancing into ground effect damage even though I'm ranged and attacking from distance (not super-far, like 1/2 screen). Decide to click "attack w/o moving" on skills and then everything went to crap...

Now left-click doesn't work for anything (movement, waypoints/zones, attacks) if i have skill assigned to it. Tried to revert the setting but the tick-box was already cleared(?!?). Checked and un-checked it again just to be sure, removed weapon and skills, restarted game and computer but nothing helps.

Don't have this issue on other toons... is this just a thing on Merc?
