BUG- TAVAKAI, THE FALLEN. CHARACTER STUCK

During the campaign TAVAKAI,THE FALLEN boss encounter, he knocked my character to the ground and my character was just lying their on full health and the boss is just standing still. nothing happened for a few minutes. Could not do anything, portal, etc. character stuck. I excited the game and reloaded and now my character can move around the map but boss is still standing still. I can perform attacks but cannot damage him. the door to Makoru is open and i can run to her location but nothing happens. IM STUCK.

I used the respawn at checkpoint option under pause menu and that worked to get me unstuck just had to redo the fight.
