Interlude scorpion stuck inside worm body

I was attempting to gain the skill points from khari crossing and while I was fighting the bosses there the scorpion happened to end the sand jumping attack inside the body of the worm boss. He can attack me but isn't able to damage me and it's the same the other way around as well.
