Leech brick (solved - I didn't understand the interaction)

I am using the "Mystic Harvest" Amazon Ascendancy node for ele leech as well. Just to throw another wrench in the gears of what's going on here

Soul tether converts excess leech, not the leech. So you need to leech life in excess for it to go to ES. BUT, by default leech doesn't start if you're full on the resource it's going to leech. In other words, for soul tether you need to either not be full life or have life leech III support or have fast metabolism notable.
