Problem with SKILL GEMS

I encountered an error where, when I had the appropriate weapons, SKILL GEMS (in my case, Herald of Thunder and Herald of Ice) stopped working with the note “Not usable with current Weapon set settings.”

Click the arrow next the the damage number and make sure the applicable weapons sets are selected.
