"An Unexpected Disconnection Occured" losing maps and temple runs

Reposting in bug report as well as feedback threads, hoping it would get some attention.

I have been getting this issue frequently, where the game disconnects saying "An unexpected Disconnection occured" and takes me to log in screen. When I log back in, the instance is reset and I lose any map portal or open temple. I lost several maps today as well as two temple runs which cause chain destabilisation setting me back several hours worth of progress.

Additionally, there was a temple run where it automatically closed the temple when I portalled out of it to exterior of the temple (into the vaal ruins). I did not close the temple or disconnect out of the game. Again, losing a lot of progress.

Kindly look into this issue as it is a game breaking problem where time and resource of a player is being wasted.

Another observation I have is that there seems to be some sort of character rollbacks happening at the same time. For example, if I change some support gems or skill gems prior to the issue, after the disconnect they would go back to a prior config of my skill gem bar. The map however, would still show as attempted. In one particular tower map, I had killed the boss, activated tower and then was cleaning up some abyss. After it disconnected, the tower shows attempted but fog of war is not cleared up, nor did the grand project take effect (which I had put into the tower). Hope this additional info helps with analysis.

It just happened again and I lost another temple run and another part of a chain that took a few hours to rebuild. Not only that, it seriously impacts lock sustain as a lost temple = zero locks, which in the long run seriously impacts the ability to grow the temple or recover from this disaster.

I keep seeing more threads about people having this exact same issue from various parts of the world. So it's just not me or my ISP. Something is seriously wrong.

Can someone from GGG please respond and at least provide some assurance that they are aware of this and that they are working on fixing this? Because with the current state, the game is literally unplayable in every sense of the word.
Same on Singapore server, lost 2 map. Please do sth.

1/21/2026 - Problem is still persisting.

Requesting GGG to please take note.

EDIT: Character rollback is confirmed. My character reached level 99 but after the disconnect, I am back at level 98 (99%)

Daily check in with the hope that GGG will give some amount of thought about this game breaking, progress erasing issue in their early access game.
