Abyss Pit not Closing

I have many runs with one or more Abyss pit refusing to close for whatever reason.

I made sure to clear all monsters around the pit and it simply doesn't close. The map has 0 monster left, and yet the pit is still showing green and no monster reviving and no rewards.
