Medalion doesn`t make any sound when it drops

2 patches ago my sound dissapeared when medalions droped. Sound works perfectly fine with anything else. i tried different headsets and so on.
it`s anoying, i have to look again and again in every room just to be sure. And yes, i missed a lot of the medalions because i cant hear them drops.

please help
