Ascendancy Points Not Granted After Trial of the Sekhemas

I’ve just completed the full Trial of the Sekhemas (the third Ascendancy trial) using a Djinn Baraya that explicitly states: “Completing this Ascension Trial will grant additional ascendancy skill points.”
After finishing the trial, I repeatedly interacted with the altar that is supposed to award the additional Ascendancy points, but nothing happened and no points were granted. This is especially frustrating given the length and difficulty of the trial, and it appears to be a bug introduced in the 0.4d patch. How many points do you have now and how many floors have you completed (which boss did you kill last)?

I currently have 4 ascendency points. This was my 3rd ascendancy, and I killed Ashar (scorpion boss) last.
