Spymasters Deleted



Spent quite a bit of time dipping my feet into the vaal temple and thought it was fun. Didnt do much research and accidentally created a loop via the research vault. Completely bricked my temple. Is this intentional? If so it is a very bad game design. Anyway to fix it?

Bumping this regarding the question about whether accidentally completing a loop destroys all the spymaster rooms is an intended feature.

If so, you're creating the situation where someone can lose hours, days, or even weeks of work based on one bad move that isn't really discussed at all in game. Also, why does it destroy all your Spymasters, the only rooms that could help you recover from such a devastating blow? You should just delete the whole damn temple because the player (if they haven't quit in a rage) now has to manually go destroy the rooms to start over.

Otherwise, I think the Vaal temple game mode is fun and interesting, but with this feature, it is neither - in fact it is infuriating and makes me question whether I want to spend my time with potential design decisions like this.
This happened to me as well, but not spymasters in particular. Rooms arent supposed to be able to stay if they cant be reached except for the special rooms u get to place after killing the architect as far as i know? Now the whole temple destablishes in these parts after spending 2 weeks of building..
Yea, all my rooms that are disconnected from the chain stayed and continue to stay. I'd need to start a whole new character in order to run temple. Ive seen this issue along with several other game breaking issues, such as ascension lockouts, with no responses from GGG. Its very disappointing.
