Accept quest button can't be skipped

Hello,
I noticed for absolutely all interactions with a npc where there is an "accept quest" button, nothing I do can cancels this screen, I have to click it no matter what.
Rolling or pressing escape doesn't leave the interface, only clicking on the button works.

I have seen streams and videos where people do not seem to have this issue and can roll out of it, I tried changing my game/graphical options but nothing seems to fix it.
