Does "cold penetration" work on Mirage Archer meta skill?

So, I am using Mirage Archer with Ice Shot and when I equip "Cold penetration" support gem on Mirage Archer I don't see any information in the Mirage Archer skill info window.

Is "Cold penetration" (or any other penetration supports) support gem actually working on Mirage Archer?
