Excited about the new +1 golem, but man it feels weird to not be in this part of the tree now.



Edit: Do you guys think Golem Commander or Death Attunement will be the better one to go for as the ammy oil passive?

I would like to submit this as a possible for elementalist version.
This would use gravepact annoint on amulet.
Based on the annointing table https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2628299 that's Azure, black, black oil.
Azure is tier 6/12
Black is tier 9/12

My guess is black will be pre-Atlas leaving opalescent, silver, gold for atlas (roughly white, yellow, red tier?).

This also picks up two more life + chaos res nodes in the upper left.
I also swap out alacrity for an extra point as we are net neutral on dexterity with these changes (40 from pathing to jewel socket).
And the result is an extra jewel socket.

Yep, the tree looks very different now to what I have been used to for almost 2 years. However it feels more optimized and opens up lot more nodes around it now.

I would go With Golem Commander. You can connect the left side again and save lots of int / Golems life nodes. Death Attunement actually has decent amount of minion damage on the way to it.

I will have to test how the gems work at first.

There is risk that new gems wont modify the AI as we want to, or may result on DPS loss. It's better to go with tested stuff at first and upgrade later if it works. I can't even add the Gems to the PoB as it has not been upgraded yet, and I feel that it wont be until league starts.

Thanks for the tree! This looks pretty good if the annoints wont cost arm and a leg.

Won't the upper right jewel socket still be 1x node closer? With dropping fire res node and using extra point, we can take something like heart and soul for more EHP.

Upper right is definitely 1x point closer, however you're not going to have enough DEX. In the tree I posted it drops alacrity as well as a 10pt node near Gravepact.
Going to the right jewel socket paths through 40DEX which reduces gear pressure for DEX.

If you can make up for the DEX on some very well statted items then the one you show is a better choice. I suppose if you're pushing 100 having decent gear with DEX, resists, chaos res, max life and good ES is a reasonable assumption!
