Why do people wanna have OP everything?

Greatly over exgerated because there's already been some nice builds and combo's that delete the screen and is it really that troublesome to need to hard commit to achieve that instead of already having a cheesy deleting build quickly on POE1. Actually played for that for a good few days as hard as I could and boring, especially to follow guides because obviously the game is inaccessible/way too time consuming without them.

You understand that "breaking a game" means its then no longer a game then right? Humans aren't just some cattle/sheep to be herded around "oh this genre pen is for you, oh oh and this one is for you mate!", we experience certain things and we hope for improvements through inspirations and technical evolutions.

There's really nothing more to discuss with you and I'm dropping it, honestly I bet you couldn't even tell me what a "Massively successul ARPG core" future looks like and how it functions to compete with user needs over say the next level of MOBA or MMORPG (which will happen one day).
50k players daily or so and remaining isn't a great success, that's just forcefully keeping the bar at a level and with the permanent agenda of relaxed sofa playing but alas, POE1 is remaining so why over complain about GGG wanting to branch into evolution that meets a wider user desire point, its nothing but selfish desires and there's plenty of people who love POE's immersion but want a better game, one that doesn't necessarily force feed you either the "power fantasy" of some bizarre god fighting anime protagnist, One Punch man is a great comedy you know but nothing inspirational...

You're trying very hard to pigeonhole an entire genre into what you perceive it's meant to be.

That's how Jonathan wants you to play this game. He even said few days ago ''no one plays huntress the way we want them to play''

He wants you to you know...engage, parry , disengage , and then attack and do damage , all that while being swarmed by 40 mobs , plants shooting oneshot projectiles , explosions on all sides , mobs jumping on you , while breach is opening and closing much faster.

He wants you to clear map kill pack by pack , 5 to 10 seconds fight preferably , but he made game to favour screen clearing builds.

I want to work my way up to being OP and having off screen clear

The patch incoming fixes drops for all of the playerbase but for those hard sweating with meta builds like LS it:
- Completely ruins the immersive combat idea that POE2 sets out, along with skill expression
- Will make those who are abusing it cry much harder if its nerfed later rather than sooner
- Inflates the economy which if they want the majority of players to enjoy is counter productive because how disappointed is your average player going to feel when he logs onto the trading website for the first time, only to see items he likes be at least 5 divs or more when they felt super lucky to get 1.

"40 mobs", uh huh, sure.
more like 10% of that number and at worst the only thing that can happen is one or two or them has mana/ES depleting bubble.
If you ignore the defensive element of this game you're going to get hurt and its deserved.

In my 500 hours in this game I've never had such situation, not even in fully juiced maps.

Maybe in Simulacrum but I prepare my character for such content by farming/equiping propper gear for such challanging endgame content.

No idea what game you're playing but surely not POE2. ;)

They want the illusion of skill and challenge so they can feel like they achieved something in life.

Things like lightning spear might as well be called hello kitty difficulty because nothing is threatening, you are playing some 2d cookie clicker at that point
