" I'm glad you linked this because it's extremely encouraging. It seems like they want to implement instant buy-out trading, they're just being careful with their approach as to not cause a massive rift in the value of certain items. I can understand Jonathan's perspective on this, he words it in such a way that is pretty easy to understand. Hopefully it's something that is implemented soon because I'm getting really sick of the fake listings on the trading site. |

still nothing with offline trade and since I'm only playing standard and not the league, I can't even find anyone online to buy items.

" Maybe I am not understanding your post. GGG introduced asynchronous (offline) trading in August with patch 0.3 through Ange. It works a lot better than the old system (which still works too). My standard characters still have stuff that sells while I am offline or playing on a league character. 97 Blood Mage, 96 Gemling, 96 Pathfinder, 93 Invoker, 92 Amazon, 92 Stormweaver, 91 Smith of Kitava, 88 Ritualist, 96 Deadeye (League), 91 Titan (League)

Yeah, weird thread necro. There now is offline/async trade.
Tbh I am not super convinced it was a good idea. The more trading there is and the more convenient it is, the rarer good gear needs to be made so that it doesn't become too cheap on the market. The rarer good gear is, the less likely it is that you can find/craft it yourself, meaning that everyone becomes more reliant on trade. But been too little time to establish a stronger opinion on this. |

" I somewhat agree there. A lot of items that I would try to sell pre-patch are now disenchanted. However, I feel that biggest reason for this is that crafting has become more deterministic with the essence/ROTA mechanics.
