Reset Entire Passive Skill Tree
" The 3 day line is exactly the same line as no respec at all. Both are artificial. I like complexity of this game but it is so unforgiving. Maybe this is not game for me, because I'm not that kid who can spend whole days playing video games anymore. I don't have enough time to make new charakters over and over again. But that's ok. I don't want to compromise gameplay that serious players love just because I'm not one of them. |

" Lack of time is no excuse for this. Im dont have the time to spend much in gaming nowadays but even with maybe 3-4 hours a week i prefer the "hard" way. You dont lose a char. And you can respec fully if you want to. It just takes work to achieve this. IF this game is to complex for you you maybe should stick to D3 or torchlight. |

" It is possible. When you log in to the game, click the little button that reads "create". What do you know... a completely empty skill tree :) Little Grey Men are Coming Our Way

" Well, you don't have to. There's two options that come to mind pretty quickly in avoiding repeatedly re-making characters. 1) Use one of the numerous already tested builds. Pro: You're speccing a build that's highly likely to work, assuming you gear for it properly. Pro: You can tweak the build where you feel confident doing so. Con: You're just following someone else's spec. 2) Research the character ahead of playing it. Pro: (If you like theorycrafting) It's fun. Pro: You have the satisfaction of making a viable end-game build that was your own creation. Con: More than likely it'll take a few tries. The depth and complexity of the skills systems in PoE is an advantage. It's a double-edged sword only if you neither research nor copy a build, in which case, the penalty for the inevitable mistakes is upon the player, not the game. |

" What is not artificial is the fact that moving the line once leads to more demand to move the line even further. |

part of these kinda games i like is making a toon, trying a build, screwing up and starting fresh with another. if u dont want that experience research ur talent tree before u start putting points in.

" That is one of the most intelligent posts I think I've ever seen on a video game forum. I commend you sir. But I also just wanted to say this... I'm in my mid 30s. I don't have that much time for games anymore either. But if I want a different path on my skill tree, I'll start over. After you play through a couple of times, you learn how to do it quick. The main point I was wanting to make is this... You have nothing but time. If it takes you longer cause you can't play as much, no biggie. The game will still be there when you have time. I don't really think you enjoy this type of game any more at end game then you do while you are leveling. You're just playing the same thing over and over anyway. Who cares what level you are when you do it? Just some food for thought. If you like it, play it. If you have to start over, oh well. Don't let it get to you. come on:
- there will be wipes now and then, when the skill-tree changes. - there are possibilities of minor changes via questing or orbs. this should be enough, to correct a way. - if you want a full change (lets say from summoner-ele-templar to bow-crit-templar) you can either wait (for a wipe) or save or start new. where is the scence anyway to start a char as a melee but to end as a mage? i myself have not more than one hour/day for playing. but i still love playing around with the tree and see how my char evolves. take away the NO-EASY-RESET-WAY and you loose a lot of the pioneer-feeling you have while walking all over the huge skill-tree. easy is not better. |

I'll echo ElephantRider - I'm 33 and don't have nearly as much time to spend gaming as I once did, but I love this game without respecs.

" This is incorrect. The devs flat stated when they went from closed beta to open beta and wiped that was the last wipe. Ever. Period. Barring some kind of catastrophic data loss that necessitates a wipe, skill tree changes will not bring a wipe.
