[3.0] NeverSink's ♣ INDEPTH Tornado&Archer Guide ♣ Beginner friendly ♣ Rapid clear ♣ All bosses

I have now made some changes, and I can do T11 maps, without that big of a hazzle. Now I just need to get some more maps, but that will come in time :)

I have decided to rekindle an old flame running this build in the new breach league.
I originally fell in love with this build during the rampage league and had not played it since before ascendancy dropped. Anyways enough of my backstory, i recently became interested in the windripper version of this build after getting to lv 75 and noticing they were really cheap this league. I managed to 5l a windripper earlier today for around 25 fusing or so. The passive trees are not updated for the current tree. Does anyone know if neversink is still around? or maybe how i would change the tree to something more windripper friendly? which notables to aim for, general pathing advice would be greatly appreciated. for now i guess i'm going to swap back to tornado shot colors and run with slivertongue and keep farming those low maps
Hi All,

Could use some advice on my gear. Im now Chain Deadeye but was considering to change for raider as i want to do maps like Atziri and go for t10++ maps. At the moment done T10 with no problem either on mobs or bosses. Problem is to change my Lionseye to avoid reflect a bit on it and then whats next ?

Should i go for quiver and ascendancy change ?

I do clear t15, Atziri and even managed Hydra with my legacy reach deadeye but i feel like i hit the wall. Want to try raider
I just managed to 6 link a reach and was wondering which of these bows is better for this build? I played around with the reach in dried lake and a t8 map with GMP replaced with poison and clear speed seems great not sure about the difference in single target damage. Can anyone shed some light on the best bow option?

Also I got lucky and got +2 barrage on a rat's nest. I saw another TS build that uses barrage for single target instead of blast rain. They used Barrage - Pierce - Added Chaos - Increased Critical Strikes - Slower Projectiles - Faster Attacks for links. Would this be a good alternative given my helm enchant? Same links?

Thanks for any advice!
Well, in general terms the Reach is quite a bit better imo. The Harbinger is quite mediocre (no crit chance and only around 337 pdps), so if you apply the GMP reduction, the dps is already at the same level as that from Reach, the difference being 1.50 basecrit vs an additional link. If you really need the crit you can put the increased critstrikes in that setup and get more than this 1.5 difference, otherwise you get a free dmg gem.

P.S. With your enchant you shouldnt even waste a thought about blast rain! There must be a reason, why those enchants are worth 10Ex+ in templeagues ;) With a "dying sun" in your setup your barrage would be destroying the T15 bosses in few seconds. (and premium content as well with the right setup/ascendacy).
Thanks juerk!
I recently saw some builds using add lightning damage instead of physical to lightning. How to choose between them and which one does better.

This build can be used with split arrow? I am too lazy to aim.

Yes, replace GMP with Fire damage / Life leech / Life on hit. Split arrow is still good.

I hope you're going to level that increased duration gem because it's not affected by the CWDT cap.

Really? Thank you, that's very valuable information I somehow missed out on.

Hey. Nice Guide. I love playing the ranger like this.

But 1 Question. Why do you skip Master fletcher?

3 point 42% physdmg with bow + 2 % increased attack speed

I would give uo Constitution on the left side.

So you could get some extra passive maybe to skill Fury Bolts for example.

Master fletcher is not bad in my opinion, however it's simply weaker than other bow-clusters. If you feel like you can survive a lot, I recommend investing in the "Depth perception" cluster (+accuracy and crit next to the shadow). It will provide a much bigger DPS boost.

Also don't use fury bolts. You spend 2 nodes just to get there. Not worth it.

However, in 78-79 maps I feel like you really want the all the defense you can get. Death is costly even on softcore, since experience is slow after level 85. And the clear-speed of this build is very high anyway.

Lol I'm so sorry, I meant Pierce instead of Puncture. But got a Drillneck so it doesn't matter. I respecced fully into this build with the current gear:

I'm still not exactly sure what you mean. If you refer to TornadoShot-Pierce, that's because the secondary form of the shot does NOT pierce and deals the most damage. Once it start piercing, the AOE clear of it becomes much stronger.

it clearly shows you picking fury bolts on the trees on this guide.. this is what I'm stuck with. you say one thing and the trees say another, I'm really stuck at what I need next because the trees often don't match the advice that goes along with it.. not sure if you;re still playing any more but can you offer any advice please?

I can't find any newer TS dead eye builds. I have pretty much followed your tree to this point, but upon reading the comments you;re advising people to avoid clusters you take in the guide, this really makes little sense to me right now! ha ha
