More mana is what you need, at a quick glance. Try and upgrade into a Cloak of Defiance. Keep your resistances up and search for items that have high mana rolls in gloves. If you can get your resistances high enough go for a Crown of the Inward Eye.

Does anyone know if its still possible to get 118% increased spell damage on the sceptre? it only shows 109% on PoEDB.
Loving this build guide, I'm curious Is it worth switching to unleash/awakened unleashed and use a different weapon?

My idea was to stack mana through other sources like Atziri's foible and perandus signets, Use apeps rage's and rely on unleash over spell echo.

I also really like the advice some people were discussing a few pages ago: get a medium cluster jewel with master of fear and wish for death. It allows you to drop blade blast. I've used the gem slot for increased duration so wave of conviction and conductivity both are basically permanently up (WoC has like 7.8 or 7.9seconds uptime and gets cast every 8 seconds*). Currently WoC and blade blast are up 4 seconds per skill in a 12 second cycle.

*Edit: You do need a divergent WoC for the 7.8/7.9 seconds. Otherwise you'll still be at or slightly over 7seconds.

On a note for everyone on the gloves: If you run the sigil of power set-up in your gloves, this craft adds a lot of value I think.




Interesting take on the increased duration of WoC, but I'm pretty sure the trigger doesn't work like that.
I can't find any official info about it, but I thought that there was a cooldown of 4 sec per triggered skill (or the actual cooldown of the triggered skill if it is higher than 4 sec).
So WoC should trigger every 4 sec instead of the 3 skill gems times 4 sec = 12 sec you're assuming.
It can easiliy be tested in game ofc, but I'm at work atm ;-)
If it is 4 sec, you don't need the increased duration support to have near permanent uptime (if you can aim it right).

Good advice on the gloves, though sadly we only get an increase in less damage taken at lvl 21 and 24. So a lvl 21 Sigil has no defensive value over a lvl 20 Sigil, unless you also run 2 wands with +1 lvl to spell skill gems.
The offensive value however is nice; better RF and vaal RF + more lightning damage from SoP.
It is also one of the few prefixes that are useful to us (aside from mana/life) and that don't require an influence.

I still have to Harvest craft life on my gloves, but after that I can finally remove %increased ES and craft a prefix.



I'm more inclined to Harvest craft a caster mod in my case though, since it is a guaranteed (18–30)% increased Spell Damage because that Warlord mod is the only caster prefix.

I checked in POB to see if a +1 to the offensive value of Sigil and Righteous Fire is better or worse than (18–30)% increased Spell Damage.
If I run Righteous Fire and Vaal Righteous Fire (best case scenario for the AoE gems) my dps will increase by:
+1,7% when using +1 lvl AOE gems
+3,7% when I have a perfect T1 roll of 30% increased spell power since I can easily remove/add caster mods to get a T1
+1,9% when I have only have 18% increased spell power



You're right about the Trigger condition. For some reason I remembered it as 4seconds per time triggering and whenever it triggers it follows the order of your socketed gems. But it's just the skills that have a cooldown of 4 seconds before they get triggered again.

For the gloves, I do think there are higher-end options with influences. However, this craft can last you a long time for just a divine orb in investment. The increased AoE is a small defensive buff aswell I'd say.

I'm putting my harvests in this little project. Might not be the optimal choice, but I liked the road to crafting it.


After the wand, I'll be looking to craft a helm and only then revisit my gloves.

the inward eye helmet is a great cheap starter choice, but if you get crusader on a the atziri's foible amulet,
you will open up so much freedom to get good gear and still be able to manage full resistances. the more uniques you have in your gear the harder it gets to min-max without paying 200 ex


It's possible to fit in the 5 uniques without going too crazy on rares for the resists, but the real upside to a crafted rare are the influenced mods:
- Elder/Crusader: up to 15% increased maximum mana (and elevated Elder even gives a free transfiguarion of the Mind, though expect that to be insanely expensive with any useful enchant)
- Crusader: -9% lightning res to nearby enemies
- Crusader: up to 10% physical damage taken as lightning

Those are the most useful mods, though there are others like physical damage takes as cold/fire (nice combo with the Wise oak?), %increased elemental damage, ...

If you can get those 3 Crusader mods on 1 helmet with +mana though...

I recently bought a helmet pretty cheap:



I'm still figuring out the best way to reroll it though.
Atm I use every lightning harvest reroll on it, but fossils might be better since I can make mana mods and lightning mods more common.

I want to get the following mods:
- T1 %increased maximum mana
- T2 or higher maximum mana
- Nearby enemies have -9% to lightning res

I think (and correct me if there is a better way) that the cheapest way is:

1. Fossil craft with only a Lucent fossil to get the 2 mana mods at the tiers I want (average of 56 tries for T2 mana and 111 tries for T1 mana)

2. Fill the 3rd prefix (pref with life/physical as lightning damage)

3. Harvest remove all lightning suffixes (if any)

4. Benchcraft lightning res

5. Harvest craft add lightning mod

6. Remove benchcrafted lightning res

Repeat steps 3 to 6 until I hit the -9 lightning res mod, which takes an average of 13 tries)

Another option is Awakener's Orbing an Elder helmet with the T1 %increased maximum mana on my Crusader with -9% lightning res already on it, then benchcraft +mana.


I would agree that the theoretical best option is to use a rare helmet. I guess the base is almost irrelevant if you're running Agnostic?

Obviously, keep in mind that the gear was ridiculously expensive even when Harvest was an unceasing font of game-breaking crafting possibilities, and that it was for a version of the build that was tankier but had a bit less in damage (more focus on mods for DPS).

Bases are indeed irrelevant, as long as you use an INT base (or either a STR/INT or DEX/INT) so you can roll the + maximum mama mod.
Hello , can i have question about number of skills ... ?
how u solve problem of number of skills i have :
left click : move only , right : arc and middle sigil of power . (its ok)
but on skill tabs
1st skill tab : flame dash , arcane cloak, vaal righteous fire , wrath, clarity

2nd : vitality , and 4 golems ....

how u solving problem , when u need another skills etc portal and FOCUS ... or i am dooing something wrong?
my only solution si cast golems , replace them by auras and cast them ..

is any better solution ?

Start with placing Arcane Cloak on you left mouse button.
Then press CTRL and you'll see that you have place for 5 more skills.
Put your golems there + aura's if you have place left.


Other than that there isn't really a good solution; I'm not using the Focus skill, mostly because I don't have any room left (and I don't have place for it on my wands).

Can anyone make any suggestions on where to go from here with my gear? I feel so squishy still all the time and any upgrades I can find are like 20 ex with proper stats.

omg :) ty a lot for idea with Arcane cloack on left :))
btw great build for new players -> sirus awa 6 killed with only one (stupid ) death -> easy kill not so fast like players with 15M dps but still its great for me :)
