Did anyone kill Red Elder with the build and got a video of it? I really wanted to se the difference between Yellow and Red
Well, if you already have a PoB setup, why would you not share it? Would you not want it to be easy and enjoyable on us? I personally rather appreciate any posts that have PoB links. It helps me understand how the build works much better. You don't "have to have PoB Link" in your awesome guide, I agree, but it will certainly make it much more appreciated.

Either ways, I am building on this. I hope to enjoy it as much.

@PNgamer, your profile is set to private. You should set it to public so we can check out your characters.

@DoveAhKin, I don't save my characters in PoB, as I never bother setting up gear for them etc. I always just import my character whenever I want to look into possible changes. I could have maintained a PoB link just for the guide, but the PoB numbers for this character is very confusing for newer players (showing 20-30k Blight DPS for instance), and more experienced players can simply import my character if they wish to check the math.
Best jewels for ED build ?
Good guide btw !
Dual spreading rot. Then ones with resist life mana move and cast speed. Depends how high level you are how many sockets you have going. Dual spreading rot is the first you want.

2x spreading rot --> dot / life% / spell dmg

get mana% instead if you cant afford max life which is what I did 5-15c vs 30-40c
Great and detailed guide, thanks for sharing!

Lv86 right now, and my RNG is nice for once: Allelopathy gloves dropped like a day after I started mapping and I just finished the Plaguemaw prophecy chain and got a 100% increased Chaos damage BotC out of it. A Tul Breach even dropped me a Snowblind Grace. I just hope Tul will deign to drop me her Blessing once I get enough spliters to fight her, else the grind begins anew (I should probably mention I'm in ASSF).

I'd picked up those projectiles pierce nodes on the passive tree for convenience while leveling, but I've finally specced out of them after getting used to just using Blight; and I replaced my Quicksilver flask with a Quartz one. Still not comfortable with replacing my mana flask, though. Is there a good time/should I just go for it or better wait til my mana regen is better?

Haven't done any Shield Charging yet and being on softcore, I'm running Despair instead of Temp Chains (though I've kept leveling it just in case). I might give Shield Charge with Fortify a try once I approach red maps, but right now, I have like 7k eHP, as a frequent Shadow player I'm used to my character being squishy, and my last three or four deaths were just to those rare Abyss Bone Stalker things anyway.

Now I'm mostly waiting for better boots to drop/craft (had the same ones since forever; the rest might be decent, I think..? AbyssalShadowOfEDness, if anyone would take a look) and saving up fuses for eventually linking whichever body armour I'm gonna end up with.

Long story short: great build, lots of fun; I only got up to T9 maps so far but I haven't blazed through map bosses this quickly since the boss HP buff; maybe, if a Guardian map eventually drops, I'll finally attempt it (instead of being a coward and just admiring it sitting in my stash).

Also, open field maps with high mob density are the best. Everything just dies.
ok my character setup is open now and not anymore private
Amazing guide, I tried countless different builds which required GG items to sustain end game content and this is one of the cheapest build I ever found so far.

Dirt cheap gearing as well, I use mostly gear I found from clearing and leveling mobs from Act 1 to Act 10. Then only to yellow maps that I start to upgrade to a better gear. Click on my profile, aside from BotC and Allelopathy, I have crappy gear which is enough to clear all maps. Very promising build.

A question, I've read the thread, Pierce is not a good 6th link gem. Should I get Decay or Poison to my 6th link? I couldn't afford Empower gem, not enough currency yet.
